El artista de reggae-dancehall argentino FRANCO VERÓN está en ascenso. Proveniente de Junin, Buenos Aires, Franco inició su carrera solista en 2007 y en ese poco tiempo se ha establecido como uno de los artistas jóvenes más promisorios de la escena reggae latina. Ya sea reggae o dancehall, el estilo y la versatilidad de Franco le permite dominar cualquier tipo de riddim, algo que se puede apreciar en su lanzamiento de 2012, "En La Party". Segundo trabajo luego de su álbum debut ("Esperanza", 2009), "En La Party" presenta 6 tracks de potente dancehall y new roots, incluyendo el popular single "Ruge El León".
Franco he compartido escenario con muchísimas figuras del reggae nacional e internacional, incluyendo: Lee Scratch Perry, David Hinds (Steel Pulse), Anthony B, Bushman, Jahdan Blakkamoore, Los Cafres, Dread Mar I, Fidel Nadal, Dancing Mood, Resistencia Suburbana, Riddim y muchos más. Ademas, el talento de Franco lo llevó hasta las semifinales y finales de las ediciones 2011 y 2012 del reconocido concurso internacional Rototom Reggae Contest Latino, que se disputaron en Buenos Aires (Argentina) y Colonia del Sacramento (Uruguay), respectivamente.
Argentinean-born reggae dancehall artist FRANCO VERÓN is on the rise. Hailing from Junin, Buenos Aires, Franco began his solo career in 2007 and has rapidly established himself as one of the most promising young artists to emerge from the latin reggae scene. Whether reggae or dancehall, Franco's style and versatility allow him to effectively ride almost any type of riddim, something that can be noted in his 2012 release En La Party. The follow-up to his first album (Esperanza, 2009), En La Party features 6 dancehall and new roots tracks, including his hit single "Ruge El Leon".
Franco has shared the stage with many reggae greats over the years, including: Lee Scratch Perry, David Hinds (Steel Pulse), Anthony B, Bushman, Jahdan Blakkamoore, Los Cafres, Dread Mar I, Fidel Nadal, Dancing Mood, Resistencia Suburbana, Riddim and several others. In the last two years Franco's talents have also taken him to the semifinales (2011) and finals (2012) of the internationally reknown Rototom Reggae Contest Latino, held every year in Uruguay.
